Motorola Delivers TETRA Solution with
Innovative Fuel Cell Backup Power to
Denmark's SINE Network

Robust, environmentally-friendly TETRA solution
backed up by fuel cell technology

Denmark - 30 June, 2009 - Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced that a total of forty Motorola TETRA Base Stations with fuel cell back-up are now live across Denmark's SINE public safety network, with approximately 50 planned and commissioned for installation throughout the remainder of the year.

The environmentally friendly, fuel cell-based back-up solution, which was developed with Dantherm Power, was installed to provide mission-critical operations with continuous secure communication across the nationwide SINE network in Denmark. It is the first network of its kind in the world.

One of the largest 802.16e mobile WiMAX networks in the Middle East leverages Motorola's global expertise in delivering and operating nationwide deployments.

RIYADH, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - 06 June, 2009 - Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) and Etihad Atheeb Telecom Company (GO) have today announced the launch of a new nationwide WiMAX 802.16e network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Atheeb will offer wireless broadband services, including voice and high-speed data, to customers and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) across the Kingdom.

Atheeb customers will enjoy a true convergence of voice, video and data services on their WiMAX personal communication devices. Motorola Wins Second TETRA Terminal

BERLIN, Germany - June 15, 2009
- Motorola, Inc
. (NYSE: MOT), world leader in the development and deployment of TETRA communication solutions, today announced that it has won the second terminal tender in Berlin for delivering digital public safety radio communications for the Federal State of Berlin.

Motorola has been awarded a framework agreement from the project group for BOS digital radio in the Berlin Senate, for the delivery of 14,100 TETRA digital two-way radios, including accessories and services. The terminals will be used by the police and fire brigades as well as other security authorities and organizations. The agreement runs over a period of two years.

Motorola Deploys Enhanced TETRA Communications Network at Alicante Airport
MADRID, Spain - 28 May 2009 - Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced that it has won a contract to provide AENA Alicante Airport with an advanced TETRA (TErrestrial Trunked RAdio) digital radio system to support and improve operations throughout the site. By deploying TETRA infrastructure in the airport, indoor and outdoor radio communication between ground staff, airport officials and other workers will be significantly improved.

Partnering with Amper Sistemas, Motorola will role out its Dimetra IP solution, enhanced IP-based TETRA technology that is highly flexible and scalable and is able to support voice, messaging, and mobile applications-including remote access to information databases and image transmission-over a single network.

Analysis from interviews with 196 organizations, reveals the clear demand, expressed by 82 percent of respondents for fast, resilient communications, which improve the safety of users, extend the range of applications available in the field and simplify ease of use. These requirements underline the ongoing importance of TETRA technology.

The in-depth study, conducted by IDC on Motorola's behalf, canvassed the opinions of executives with a role in purchasing decisions across eight countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA)* from public safety, oil and gas and transport sectors. As well as articulating the overwhelming demand for faster and more resilient communication networks, organizations, as reported by 79 percent of respondents, are keen to see improvements to technology which improves existing systems.
