Velkommen til dette NYE nyhetsbrevet for Motorola-sluttbrukere: MOTOsafety NEWS. Vi håper at dette innholdet er interessant og nyttig fordeg.
De siste par månedene har vært travle for MOTOROLA i Nord-Europa med store kundearrangementer og handelsmesser i Sverige, Norge, Danmark, Nederland og Storbritannia (se noen eksempler nedenfor).
Motorola vil fortsette å levere teknologien som innfrir deres behov og forventninger ved å opprettholde denne tette kontakten med dere som sluttbrukere.
Vår nye 1,8 watts TETRA Terminal MTP850 (se nedenfor) har blitt svært godt mottatt av brukersamfunnene, og er en klar illustrasjon på hvordan denne kommunikasjonen mellom deg og Motorola bidrar til å forme nye radioer som betjener viktige behov (inaktivitetsalarm) og innfrir dine forventninger med tanke på robusthet (sidekontakt).
Jeg syns vi har hatt en god framdrift på Nødnettet den siste tiden og er glade for at politiet i Follo og Østfold har tatt i bruk nettet. Vi ser nå i spenning og forventning fram til at vi får flere brukere på nettet i tiden som kommer.

Holland: End-User Day in Utrecht. Motorola held its second Dutch User Day in Utrecht on Nov 25. This year´s event gathered 45+ government customers and partners from The Netherlands and Belgium for a full day of hands-on experience with TETRA Terminals and WNS. 85 % of attendees found the event as either "Interesting" or "Very interesting", providing precious feedback on product usage that is now being actively discussed internally. As for now we are already working on our next Dutch End User Day - Stay TUNED!
Norway: Scandinavian TETRA Seminar. This key event for the public safety market in Northern Europe attracted 200+ attendants from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland. As in 2009 Motorola will be a key participant to the next seminar in 2010 - looking forward to seeing you there!
Sweden: RAKEL End-User Day. Motorola organized its first-ever RAKEL End-Users Day in Stockholm on September 9, where a wide range of our solutions for RAKEL where demonstrated. This event too was evaluated as either "Interesting" or "Very interesting" by 90 % of attendees. Because we want to listen to you - the end-users - first hand comments provided during the day is now being processed internally.

MTP850 S: A great improvement to our market-leading TETRA portfolio, the New TETRA Terminal incorporates 1,8 Watt DMO- and TMO range, and a new rugged & smaller side-connector. NEW software release MR 5.11! As a proof of our innovation capabilities Motorola recently released MR 5.11 - the latest software for TETRA terminals MTH800, MTM800, MTM800E, MTP850, MTP850 Class 3L, MTP810Ex and MTP850Ex. Among other including features like: WAP Push (push contents towards the user) and SDS Remote Control (allows to remotely to change configuration of the MS).
In order to keep up with market-demands a new release MR 5.12 is already planned to be launched within this year.
