You may already have noticed that the TETRA Association website www.tetra-association.com has been updated. Actually just the front page has changed. It has been the same front page for the last three years and it is hoped that this one will be more inter

I am sure that you will not all like it. But don’t just think that, tell me ! After all it is your website. I want it to be what you want. There may also be some “bugs”. Please let me know if you find anything.

You will see that much more is actually on the front page. Particularly TETRA case studies, press releases and latest news are now all on the front page. If you want to increase your profile on our busy site then you need to send me your information.

As a Member, to get the most out of the website you need to visit the Members’ area. Just click on the button. You will be asked for your user name and password. Every primary contact for every Member was issued with a user name and password when your organisation became a Member. That person can then provide their colleagues with additional user names and passwords. If you are experiencing any problems doing so then please contact  Sally Ross -sally@rfora.co.uk She will be able to help you.

Once you have logged in you will be directed to the Members’ area. The welcome page needs replacing. That will be our next job ! You will see a menu on the left side with five options – Working Groups, TETRA Resources, Members Resources,  Diary and Members Administration. Click on them and they will expand to offer you much more information. Working Groups – just what it says, TETRA Resources – documents, circulations etc. Members’ Resources – logos, mailing lists etc. Diary – working group meeting dates. Members Administration – (please) keep your details up to date. Actually it could handle much more information if you would like to provide it.

Along the bottom are three Hot Boxes – baps, the last four editions, circulations, everything I send to you, and your latest news. Just click on them and see.

I am confident that this new front page will help us attract more visitors to the site and that it will be a better experience for Members. It will be due to the efforts of the Marketing Group and our webmaster John Lloyd. My thanks to them.

Kind Regards,

Phil Kidner
