An important first step in this process is for industry to share its view on technology developments over the next several years and for operators and end users to share their ongoing user requirements. 

I am delighted to announce that the TETRA Association is joinning with ETSI TC TETRA in organising a workshop for the TETRA community to come together to share this information and help shape the future of the evolving TETRA standard. The workshop will be held on Wednesday 25th February 2009 starting at 10.30 am at the Best Western County House of Brussels, Square des Heros 2-4, Brussels B-1180. Belgium. http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/productInfo.do?propertyCode=92611 It is likely to be concluded by 4.00 pm. Refreshments will be provided. There is no charge to attend. Bed and Breakfast accomodation is available at 95 euros.

Please register at www.tetra-association.com so that we can make the necessary arrangements. It is open to all interested parties. You do not need to be a Member of ETSI or the TETRA Association.

It is hoped that a second workshop will be held outside of Europe later in the year. These arrangements have yet to be finalised.
