The TETRA Association SFPG has completed edition 3 of Recommendation 06 'Management of Long Life Air Interface Keys - GCK and SCK'. This document describes the procedure which may be used in the management of long term encryption traffic keys which are used to protect transmissions across the Air interface in both Trunked mode and Direct mode.

TETRA Association members are invited to offer any comments on this which will be considered and may be included in the final published version. Members who wish to receive a copy should send an email to the secretary of the SFPG, Marjan Bolle SFPG@tetra-association.com. You will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement is part of the distribution process. All comments must be received by 30 June 2009 and they will be discussed at the SFPG meeting on the 7 and 8 July 2009.
